It is Tuesday evening and the boys and I drove back from NYC this morning. We had another successful trip to the city for both work and play. Cris was able to join us for part of the weekend and we got to spend our 1st weekend as a complete family seeing some sights in Manhattan. Caleb and Christian have been begging to see the Toys R Us store so that was 1st on our list. Check out the pics from this trip to catch up on all we did.
On to work...the boys were successful at acting out their speaking parts for episode 4. On Monday night, Christian shot a scene where he is speaking with his on screen mom but the only show his profile and him from the back. I again was impressed with their maturity and ability to work so hard.
Some exciting highlights are that they had their own dressing room this time since they are princpal roles on the show. Made it nice to have our own space! Also they are required to have tutoring while they are out of school so when they are not working they have a tutor on set to keep them up with their school work. Very nice!
We will head back next week for a 1 day work session for episode. We do not know for sure if there is more work beyond that, but we have heard we will return for Episode 7.
There are many tough moments as we go through this experience, but is mostly great. I continually am impressed with how friendly the other actors on the show are. Everyone responds really well to the boys and enjoy having them around. They are both still eager to get to work and do their part each day so we continue on.
